Sustainable transport

Sustainable transport encompasses modes of transportation that are environmentally friendly and aim to reduce carbon emissions, pollution, and energy consumption. It includes walking, cycling, public transit systems such as buses, trams, and trains, as well as the use of electric and hybrid vehicles.

Clean energy

Clean energy refers to power sources that generate electricity with minimal environmental impact, producing little to no greenhouse gas emissions and thus playing a crucial role in mitigating climate change. This category includes renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal, and tidal power, which harness natural processes to generate energy sustainably. Additionally, emerging technologies like advanced bioenergy and hydrogen fuel cells are expanding the clean energy spectrum. Transitioning to clean energy not only helps protect ecosystems and biodiversity but also promotes energy security and independence.
