Candidates interested in applying for the contract agent positions that are currently published must be included in the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO) database for contract agents and have successfully passed the EPSO CAST selection tests or be included in the EPSO/CAST/2017 in the grade and requested profile (mentioned in the vacancy notice) for which they are applying.
Following EPSO’s recent announcements (How to apply | EU Careers (europa.eu)) concerning CAST-Permanent selection procedures, pending adjustments in the testing system, EPSO will be responsible only for organising the reasoning tests, but not for the competency tests. Hence, the need for the recruiting services of the EU institutions to adapt the selection procedure of Contract Agents accordingly and to introduce changes to the respective notices of competition for ongoing procedures (please see, in particular, the section on Eligibility criteria).
