What CEF Energy beneficiaries say

The Transmission System Operators (TSOs) of Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania have been the primary beneficiaries of CEF Energy funding for the Baltic Synchronisation project. These are: Elering, AS Augstsprieguma tikls (AST) and Litgrid AB. That said, the Polish TSO - Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. (abbreviated PSE) - has also been involved in several supported Actions.

As key players in this ambitious endeavour, they have led the technical and strategic efforts to connect the Baltic electricity grid with the Continental European Network.

Given their central role, we have invited the CEOs of these companies to share their perspectives on how CEF Energy support has shaped and boosted the progress and successful implementation of this milestone.

In these videos, they reflect on the transformative impact of EU funding—how it enabled critical investments, accelerated key infrastructure developments, and ultimately made this achievement possible.

Watch the videos to hear their stories and understand the scale of this remarkable accomplishment.
