Sustainable Places is Europe's first destination for EU research collaboration and market opportunities. This conference took place from 23 to 25 September 2024 in Luxembourg and online.
Meeting sustainability targets and climate change goals requires addressing buildings and the built environment at various scales, from individual buildings to districts and entire urban areas, including transport and energy infrastructures. The essence of Sustainable Places is reflected in its name: it focuses on the sustainable design, construction, and retrofitting of the spaces where we live and work.
The LIFE Programme had a stand featuring the LIFE Clean Energy Transition (CET) sub-programme. LIFE CET aims to facilitate the transition towards an energy-efficient, renewable energy-based, climate-neutral, and resilient economy by funding coordination and supporting actions across Europe.
