Quantifying the impact: Addressing energy poverty through efficiency

This webinar, organised by the LIFE SEED MICAT project and three other LIFE projects, was held on 22 January 2025 to showcase innovative tools for assessing energy efficiency and addressing energy poverty.

The event presented recent results from SEED MICAT, RENOVERTY, ODYSSEE-MURE, and INHERIT, as well as innovative approaches to assessing energy efficiency measures, informing data-driven policymaking, and addressing energy poverty, particularly in rural and underserved regions.

As part of the EU’s drive towards climate neutrality by 2050, the webinar featured expert presentations, including insights into the demand simulation model, SEED MICAT methodologies, and other key tools. It concluded with a discussion on actionable solutions for a fair energy transition.
