With more than 800 exhibitors and over 20,000 water experts attending the event, this year’s Aquatech expo was centring its discussion on topics related to engineering, process control and automation, transport and storage, wastewater treatment, water treatment, and point of use/point of entry. The global event gathers industry experts from across the world and is focused on exploring innovative and sustainable water solutions. The full programme is available here.
LIFE participation:
At Aquatech 2023, the LIFE Programme was represented by the following projects:
LIFE SOuRCE – Demonstration of an innovative, cost-efficient and versatile remediation solution for PFAS-contaminated groundwater
LIFE iBATHWATER - Real-scale demonstration project for a new integrated management system for the urban sewerage network, reducing the impact of discharged untreated rainwater on the natural environment and improving the quality of bathing water during and after episodes of intense rainfall.
LIFE BRINE - MINING - Enabling the coal mining industry to improve its wastewater management performance by developing and applying an economically viable, innovative system to eliminate products from and fully recover resources in coal mining wastewater at the source.
The LIFE Programme was also present on Monday at 16:30 - 17:15 and Thursday at 11:45 - 12:30 at the Wastewater & Resources World Stage (07.508), right next to the Circular Economy Pavilion.
