The second call for the European-wide Act!onHeat Support Facility is now open!
Applications are currently being considered for all local energy planners.
As strategic heating and cooling (H&C) planning requires know-how, resources and experience, not all municipalities are equally prepared for an energy transition. This is where the new Support Facility comes in, with specific tools and assistance for municipalities to start, complete, or improve upon their district H&C planning.
Applicants will be selected based on their ambition, interest and needs. Once the relationship is established, clustered and individual advice will be given on planning, pre-feasibility and finance. Specifically, applicants will gain exclusive access and insight to the H&C planning softwareHotmaps and THERMOS, which can be used for their local energy transition.
The Call for Application is open until 31 December 2022 via EUSurvey.
More information can be found on the ActionHeat.eu website. You can alternatively fill in the Expression of Interest form with basic details and, if we see an initial match, we will get back to you on the next application steps.
Act!onHeat is funded by the European Commission through the Horizon 2020 programme with the aim support 120 municipalities in the development of high quality strategic heating and cooling plans and of 30 pre-feasibility studies for individual projects with a mix of tailored individual and group support activities.
