Paloma Aba Garrote appointed as Director of CINEA

Congratulations to Paloma Aba Garrote, who has been appointed Director of CINEA, effective from Sunday 16 July 2023. Ms Aba Garrote had been Acting Director of the Agency since 1 January of this year and has worked as Head of the Programme Support and Resources Department in INEA/CINEA since 2017.

Upon her appointment, Ms Aba Garrote stated: "As CINEA’s new Director, I am excited to work closely with all the staff of the Agency, other European Commission’s services and our beneficiaries and stakeholders, building upon past successes and exploring new avenues for growth. With our combined efforts, I am convinced that our contribution to the implementation of the EU Green Deal will continue to make a positive impact on European citizens’ lives."
