
Overall 13 topics with a total budget of around EUR 100 M were open in the areas of improving building energy performance, boosting heat pump deployment and modernising DHC networks, supporting public authorities in the clean energy transition, building skills and capacity in industry, crowding in private finance and mobilising investment projects, establishing one-stop-shops for residential and public buildings renovation, and alleviating energy poverty as well as strengthening energy communities.
CINEA will evaluate proposals with the help of external experts in the coming months and will notify applicants in spring 2024.
Successful actions will benefit from a 95% EU contribution to their project costs and those LIFE Clean Energy Transition projects are expected to go live in summer 2024.
