NEB Festival 2022

The Festival of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) will take place from 9 to 12 June 2022 in Brussels, all across Europe and online. NEB aims to marry science and technology with art and culture; to approach the significant challenges of the 21st century in an inclusive, sustainable, and beautiful way. It brings together people from all walks of life to build connections, exchange ideas and explore science, art, design, politics, architecture and technology. The Festival brings the European Green Deal to the heart of our daily lives.

This first edition of The Festival will bring together exhibitions, artistic performances, conferences, seminars and other gatherings combining a 'live' onsite event and a 'virtual' online component.

Designed around three pillars, Forum, Fair and Fest, the festival event will be based physically in Brussels, at Gare Maritime & Mont des Arts but equally around Europe and online.

In total the programme will bring 100 FAIR projects at fixed locations, as well as on e-bikes and electrical tuk-tuks scattered across Brussels’ city centre and online on the event platform. There will also be 35 FEST performances, 60 prominent speakers and 216 side events and a NEB Prize Ceremony will take place during these 4 days.

European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen, Commissioners Johannes Hahn, Mariya Gabriel, Elisa Ferreira and Kadri Simson as well as significant other figures will be taking part at various moments.

Several of our CINEA projects from various programmes will also be participating.
