The LIFE 2024 Calls on Operating Grants invite non-profit organisations active in the fields of environment, climate action and clean energy transition to submit their proposals.
For years LIFE has been financing Operating Grants for environment and climate action. These grants can also finance actions related to the clean energy transition, but this is not widely known. In the clean energy transition field, the LIFE operating grants will aim at supporting in particular NGOs engaging on the implementation and transposition of the Fit-for-55 legislation (energy efficiency, energy performance of buildings and renewable energy) in Member States.
NGOs need to be active at EU level with a structure and activities covering at least three EU Member States or countries associated to the LIFE Programme. For specific operating grants (SGA) that will be financed in the context of the framework partnership agreements (FPA), the grant will be supported with a maximum co-financing rate of 70% on the eligible costs. The maximum operating grant amount per financial year will be EUR 700,000. Please read carefully the Call conditions.
