EMFAF 2023 Info Day on Scientific Advice on Fisheries - Watch the recording

CINEA organised a virtual Info Day on the latest call for proposals for Scientific Advice on Fisheries under the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF) on 21 April. The presentations and the recording are now available on the event webpage.

CINEA implements delegated actions providing DG MARE with scientific advice on fisheries aspects to support the Common Fisheries Policy’s implementation. Usually, this advice has been provided via contracts and studies so this call for proposals represents a novelty.

With co-funding of EUR 2.6 million, this is the first Call for Proposals looking at supporting projects that aim at developing and/or strengthening the scientific knowledge needed for fisheries conservation and management measures in support of the Common Fisheries Policy.

During the info day, speakers from CINEA and DG MARE presented the policy context of the call and explained the application process for the call, providing tips and tricks on how to write a successful proposal.
