Black Sea Common Maritime Agenda Stakeholder Conference 2023 – Joining efforts for a sustainable, modern, and competitive blue economy in the Black Sea

The Black Sea Common Maritime Agenda Stakeholder Conference 2023 is a pivotal event for all stakeholders interested in the region's sustainable blue economy development and competitiveness. The conference aimed to bring together voices from various sectors, backgrounds, and experiences to address crucial challenges and opportunities in the Black Sea basin.

From the marine environment to investment, entrepreneurship, and skills, there were 2 days of talks and activities providing a platform for knowledge sharing and collaborative efforts towards unleashing the full potential of the Black Sea sustainable blue economy.

Black Sea Projects awards: and the winner is…CINEA!
The Conference closed with the first ever edition of the Black Sea project award. The featured categories were:
1. Healthy marine and coastal ecosystems. 
2. A competitive, innovative and sustainable blue economy for the Black Sea. 
 3. Fostering Investment in the Black Sea blue economy 

Three CINEA EMFF projects were awarded. 4BIZ (Boosting the Blue Economy in the Black Sea Region by Initiating a Business Collaborative Framework in the fields of Fisheries and Aquaculture, Coastal and Maritime Tourism and Maritime Transport) and DBAN (Digital Blue Economy and Innovation Acceleration Network) were awarded in the category of “Fostering investment in the Black Sea Blue”. Tourism 4.0 for the Black Sea won in the category "A Competitive, Innovative, and Sustainable Blue Economy for the Black Sea”.

The most voted project was “healthy marine and coastal ecosystems”, which was identified by stakeholders as the most important priority of the CMA.
