42 projects will receive €70M of funding to support the clean energy transition under the final H2020 Energy Efficiency Call.
The final H2020 Energy Efficiency Call for proposals closed last September and a record–number of 352 project proposals were submitted in the 10 different topics targeting the buildings, finance, consumer and public authorities sectors.
These projects will further contribute towards the objectives of the European Green Deal, in particular, by supporting the renovation wave and by decarbonising Europe’s energy system, coming forward with innovative solutions to improve energy efficiency and engaging stakeholders for the clean energy transition.
Applicants have been notified this week and EASME is preparing the grant agreements with the aim to kick-off projects from May 2021 onwards.
Once these projects are contracted, 387 project partners will work across 32 countries to deliver on Europe’s clean energy transition.
