Description
There is an increasing need for zero-emission refuse trucks to comply with cities’ upcoming access restrictions as part of air pollution reduction strategies. To this end, the LIFE ‘N Grab Hy! project team showed that hydrogen can offer a green alternative to power heavy-duty vehicles.
The project’s final conference will take place as a webinar on 30 March. The meeting will present the results of its two prototype garbage trucks. The hydrogen-electric hybrid vehicles were designed to be a zero-emission and low-noise alternative for waste collection.
