Hannover Messe

The European Union had an exhibition stand at Hannover Messe, the largest industrial fair in Europe. The stand comprised three digital storytelling stations centred around three pillars: Green, Digital and Resilient Europe.

Green Europe

Construction/buildings:

• 4RinEU - Robust and Reliable technology concepts and business models for triggering deep Renovation of Residential buildings in EU
• Build Up - a portal for sharing knowledge on how to make buildings more energy-efficient

Industry

• Carbfix2 - developing novel, safe, and efficient geologic carbon storage method, which successfully converted injected CO2 into stable carbonate rocks
• LIFE AGAN- FOILS - Innovative recycling plant converting domestic plastic waste into new plastics

Mobility/transport

• LIFE ‘n Grab Hy! – deployment of Hydrogen-powered garbage trucks
• TrAM-project (Transport: Advanced and Modular) - developing modular production methods for a more cost-effective construction of zero emissions vessels

• DOCC OFF – Digitalization Of Critical Components in offshore wind turbines
• CATALYST - innovative technological and business framework that enables data centres to offer a range of mutualized energy flexibility services to both electricity and heat grids, while simultaneously increasing their own resiliency to energy supply
• PIXEL - an IoT-based infrastructure to improve ports’ management
