Description
Background
The European Climate Stocktake's objective is to advance the discussion in the run-up to the Global Stocktake, the UNFCCC's first review of the global progress made in implementing the Paris Agreement. It will conclude at COP28 in November.
The project Beccs Stockholm, which combining CO2 capture with heat recovery will make the process of carbon capture and storage much more energy-efficient, will be present at the event.
The project LIFE-IP EKOMALOPOLSKA, which focuses on activities in the field of climate change mitigation and energy transition in the Malopolska region in Poland, will represent the LIFE programme at the event.
Representatives of other organisations receiving LIFE operating grants, such as Climate Action (CAN) Network Europe and Slow Food, will also be present at the event.
