Description
The new EU forest strategy for 2030 released last year paves the way for a new series of legislative initiatives and changes in the policy framework.
Representatives from the following LIFE projects will participate in this meeting:
- LIFE MIDMACC
- LIFE Wood For Future
- LIFE SySTEMiC
- LIFE FOREST CO2
- LIFE ADAPT-ALEPPO
- LIFE AgroForAdapt
- LIFE Mix for Change
- LIFE RESILIENT FORESTS
They will share their views on the common challenges faced by Mediterranean forests and present their joint policy recommendations.
An open discussion will follow, with representatives from the EU institutions, associations and organisations involved in the development of forest policy invited to join the debate. This is a partner event of EU Green Week 2022.
