LIFE-IP AdaptInGR is organising this event as part of its mission to catalyse the implementation of the Greek National Adaptation Strategy and the 13 Regional Adaptation Action Plans during the current first adaptation policy cycle (2016-2025) and to prepare for the transition to the second adaptation policy cycle (2026+). The project promotes action at national, regional, and local levels to enhance climate resilience.
The two-day conference will bring together policymakers, experts, and business leaders to discuss innovative solutions for sustainable development. Attendees will gain insights into climate adaptation policies, financial tools, and innovative solutions for making infrastructure, tourism, and cities more resilient. Engaging panel discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and networking opportunities will provide a platform to exchange best practices and shape future strategies.
A highlight of the event is a study visit to Corfu’s UNESCO-listed Old Town, where participants will explore real-world examples of cultural heritage preservation in the face of climate change. With expert-led discussions and hands-on learning, this event is a must for those looking to drive impactful climate adaptation efforts in the Adriatic-Ionian Region.
