2020 LIFE - Call for proposals for preparatory projects (second round)

Call for proposals for action grants to finance Preparatory projects under the LIFE sub-programmes for environment and climate action.

This call for proposals covers five (5) specific needs, as follows:

A. Four (4) specific needs under the Environment sub-programme, specifically to provide support for the development of a PEFCR (Product Environmental Footprint Category Rule) on the following product categories:

1. Apparel and footwear.
2. Cut flowers and potted plants.
3. Flexible packaging.
4. Synthetic turf.

Only entities that are active participants in the process for the development of PEFCR (Product Environmental Footprint Category Rule) for these product categories are eligible to apply.

B. One (1) specific need under the Climate action sub-programme: “Enabling Carbon Farming via an improved knowledge system”.

Please note that the “new features relating to the COVID-19 pandemic” detailed on the central LIFE Call for proposals webpage do not apply to Preparatory projects.
