CEF is turning 10: Join us in the celebrations!

As announced in January, the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) is celebrating its 10^th anniversary this year and CINEA will launch various communication activities during 2024 to highlight how this funding programme has been fundamental in modernising European infrastructure for transport and energy.

Since 2014, CEF has supported thousands of projects with billions of Euro in EU support, so this celebration would be incomplete without their participation.

Therefore, we are calling for all CEF beneficiaries to join us on the celebration by helping us to showcase the impact of CEF funding in promoting growth and competitiveness through investment in modern connected European networks.

Below you can find 5 easy ways to contribute in the celebrations:

1. Post about CEF’s anniversary on Social Media, using the visual material of the anniversary and the official hashtag #10YearsOfCEF.  Do not forget to also add your programme’s specific hashtag: #CEFEnergy / #CEFTransport

3. Talk about the anniversary at events

5. Use the anniversary momentum to reach out to local/regional media to explain what was achieved thanks to CEF funding in your region. You can filter CEF projects through our Public Dashboard

The communication team at CINEA will be monitoring your engagement and will create compilations of videos and quotes with testimonies, as well as of pictures with the forex to illustrate news and to show at events and key occasions.
