The ILA Berlin International Airshow is one of the biggest events in aviation worldwide. Taking place every two years, the show brings together all the major players in the global aviation industry to showcase the latest technological innovations.
Under the overall heading, “Pioneering Aerospace”, key topics this year include innovation, new technologies and sustainability, climate-neutral aviation, digitalisation and security.
CINEA at joint EU stand
Several European Commission departments and services – DG Research & Innovation (RTD), DG Mobility and Transport (MOVE), DG Defence Industry and Space (DEFIS), the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), the Clean Aviation Joint Undertaking (CAJU) and the SESAR Joint Undertaking – will manage a joint exhibition stand presenting the EU’s policies, funding opportunities and project achievements in the aviation sector. You can find the stand in Hall 2 / Booth 320.

- This session is hosted by the ClimAvTech Cluster (13 R&I projects funded by the EU via CINEA to advance sustainable aviation). CINEA’s Deputy Head of Unit for Transport Research, Pablo PEREZ-ILLANA, will provide the introduction.

- This session includes presentations on projects covering hydrogen technologies for aircraft, airport greening, aviation climate mitigation and novel drone operations. It brings together speakers from research and industry and is moderated by CINEA’s Deputy Head of Unit for Transport Research, Pablo PEREZ-ILLANA.
