Every year, the Commission calls on Member States to express their interest in participating as contributing and/or host Member State in RENEWFM grant award procedures. This is done through a letter by the Commissioner to the energy ministers and a template questionnaire. The questionnaire is to be filled by the national authorities and it is not binding, but only indicates the preferences of the country.
The information required from the host/contributing countries at the stage of expression of interest is defined in art. 7 of the RENEWFM Regulation.
