The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for Energy is the EU funding programme to implement the Trans-European Networks for Energy policy. It aims at supporting investments in building new cross-border energy infrastructure in Europe or rehabilitating and upgrading the existing one.
The Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) for Transport is the funding instrument to realise European transport infrastructure policy. It aims at supporting investments in building new transport infrastructure in Europe or rehabilitating and upgrading the existing one.
The CEF Digital portion is managed by the European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA).

Ukraine completed repair works at the Yahodyn TEN-T road border crossing point as part of a joint cooperation between Polish and Ukrainian beneficiaries under the CEF Transport programme.

Since 2021, the CEF Transport programme has supported 95 military mobility projects across all transport modes. The first 11 projects have now been successfully completed.

Since 2021, CINEA has financed 95 dual-use (civilian + military) projects under the military mobility envelope of the Connecting Europe Facility Transport. The first 11 projects selected under this funding priority have fully implemented the investments and now been closed.

These projects will deploy alternative fuels supply infrastructure such as recharging stations, hydrogen refuelling stations, electricity supply and ammonia and methanol bunkering facilities across 24 EU countries.
