Watch the recording of the info day on the call for proposals to foster energy transition in fisheries

On 18 March 2024, CINEA organised an Info Day on the call for proposals on a Pilot project: Fostering energy transition in the fisheries sector (PPPA-2024-FISHVESSELDEMO). The call for proposals is open until 11 June 2024 with a budget of 2.2 million.

This call for proposals seeks to finance a pilot project on a demonstrator fishing vessel that will be retrofitted with alternative propulsion technologies and other solutions to improve energy performance, cut emissions and reduce underwater noise. 

The Info Day was an opportunity for interested applicants to obtain more information on the objectives of the call, conditions to apply as well as obtain some guidance on how to prepare their proposal.

There were 131 connections to the online Info Day, including from the fisheries sector, fishers’ associations and the research community. They included experienced beneficiaries and participants new to EU funding.
