EU countries to receive more than EUR 380 million for nature, environment, climate action and clean energy transition projects 

The European Commission has approved an investment package of more than €380 million for 168 new projects under the LIFE Programme. This is a 27% increase on last year's amount.

This EU funding under LIFE will mobilise a total investment of over €562 million in these projects. Actions will take place in almost all EU countries, meaning that LIFE, which turned 30 this year, will continue to deliver tangible results that people can see and feel Europe-wide.
