Presentation of results of LIFE for Minuartia project, during the online 33rd Conference of the Plant Population Biology

The LIFE for Minuartia project team set out to protect and save the Minuartia smejkalii, which is a postglacial flowering plant endemic to Czechia. Actions included ex-situ (off-site) conservation based on genetic analysis, reintroduction, population enforcement and management of its serpentine site.
Their work is near completion and the team will present the project’s results during the online 33rd Conference of the Plant Population Biology. This conference will look at a number of pertinent issues, including plant demography, experimental plant ecology, population genetics, epigenetics and community ecology.
