ENGAGE is a European initiative aiming to facilitate the Renovation Wave by implementing the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive for residential mortgages and home renovation loans.
ENGAGE strives to overcome the current challenges:
- Interpreting the EU Taxonomy Regulation;
- Capturing European public investment grants;
- Collecting data for climate stress tests;
- Complying with the General Data Protection Regulation.
Two solutions are envisaged:
- A one-size-fits-all disclosure template and taxonomy; and
- A centralised Green Investment Portal (GIP).
