The 2026 CEF Transport calls for proposals make €1.1 billion available to build and modernise European transport infrastructure. They support the European Commission’s vision of a future sustainable transport system, with smart and resilient solutions implemented to interconnect Europe.
In line with the Strategic Plan, the overall expected impact of this Destination is to contribute to the “Advancing science for a transition to a climate-neutral and resilient society”.
The Cities Mission aims to deliver 100 climate-neutral and smart cities by 2030 and to ensure that these cities act as experimentation to enable all European cities to follow suit by 2050.
