Pioneers Ports successful demo

Apollo project

APOLLO shows that PV recycling can move beyond downcycling and become a manufacturing-grade circular system, recovering silicon, glass and critical metals at quality levels suitable for new PV modules.

LK2BM biomass lime kiln

A pulp mill in Setúbal, Portugal is replacing natural gas with hardwood sawdust and pellets to power its lime kiln, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions from the production process.

Ramp contructed

By removing key infrastructure bottlenecks, the project has increased the port’s capacity to handle roll-on/roll-off (RoRo) and heavy cargo transport, while enabling the dual use of transport infrastructure for civilian and defence purposes.

HYPOBATT project

At its final demonstration event, the EU-funded HYPOBATT project successfully showcased its high-power charging system for fully electric vessels in Norddeich, Germany – a major step forward for zero-emission maritime transport.
