LIFE is good for Nature!

LIFE Nature and Biodiversity has implemented many successful conservation measures for habitats and species of the Habitats and Birds Directives. This LIFE programme strand brings stakeholders together to manage the Natura 2000 network of sites, improves knowledge, and raises awareness by actively involving citizens, and local and regional authorities. Furthermore, LIFE is acting as a catalyst for integrating other funding sources to ensure the long-term management of Natura sites.
