Description

The Clean Industrial Deal and the European Green Deal - together with key initiatives such as the Circular Economy Action Plan, the Net-Zero Industry Act and the Fit-for-55 package - set a clear path towards a sustainable and competitive European economy. In today’s context, this also means strengthening resilience, reducing dependencies and making better use of Europe’s resources.

Within this framework, LIFE-funded projects help bring solutions to real-world application and scale. They accelerate circular business models, turn waste into valuable resources, support decarbonisation and strengthen ecosystems that underpin food and water security, soil health and climate resilience, while advancing clean energy solutions.

This publication highlights a selection of 26 LIFE projects contributing to innovation, strategic autonomy and resilience, showcasing how LIFE acts as a catalyst - transforming environmental challenges into economic opportunities and mobilising additional private investment.
