Arrival, networking, and welcome coffee
An opening vision of how the Clean Industrial Deal and the new political mandate should drive the clean energy transition, enhance Europe’s competitiveness, and reduce external dependencies. The speaker would emphasise how the EU aims to foster an environment where clean technologies can be scaled up within Europe.
Building on the opening remarks, the Clean Industrial Deal (CID) will be presented, together with an overview of what the concrete actions that the Commission/DG CLIMA will take to ensure the political guidelines and objectives. Serving as an informative intervention, this will lead into the first panel discussion.
“What’s Europe’s take?” A little over one month after the CID’s release, the panel gathers policymakers, industry leaders, and associations to share their perspectives. Panellists would offer their views on the deal's potential to drive innovation, align policy with industry needs, and position Europe for long-term economic success
