RSSInnovation Fund signed the first large-scale grants
Innovation Fund's second small-scale call open until 31 August 2022
The second Innovation Fund call for large-scale projects, making €1.5 billion available, closed on 3 March 2022 with 138 project proposals submitted, requesting a total of €12.1 billion.
Today, 27 projects selected for a grant under the first Innovation Fund call dedicated to for small-scale projects signed their grant agreement with the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA), the implementing body of the Fund.
The European Union is investing over €1,1 billion into 7 large-scale innovative projects under the Innovation Fund. The grants will support projects aiming to bring breakthrough technologies to the market in energy-intensive industries, hydrogen, carbon capture, use and storage, and renewable energy
