Exceeding two meters of sea-level rise will fundamentally change European coastal zones.
In a joint policy brief, the EU-funded H2020 projects PROTECT, CoCliCo and SCORE identify actions that are urgently needed to limit losses and damages as coastal adaptation is an ongoing process that involves short-term actions, long-term planning and strategic thinking.

The policy brief was presented at the 7 November at the COP 27 session "IPCC Projections & Planning for Extreme Sea Level Rise Risk" at the Cryosphere Pavilion
