New LIFE Integrated Projects
On 15 February, we will reveal the latest round of Integrated Projects (IPs) to receive LIFE funding. Integrated Projects support authorities in EU Member States to implement environmental and climate plans, programmes and strategies at regional, multi-regional or national level. LIFE Calls for proposals: publication dates
All LIFE Calls for proposals 2022 are expected to be published on the Funding & tender opportunities portal on 17 May so be sure to check the portal for updates. You can already see the submission deadlines here.
LIFE at 30
The LIFE programme will turn 30 in May. We will mark the occasion at different points throughout the year, so be sure to check out our social media channels for more information. All will be revealed soon.
LIFE Awards 2022
The 16th edition of the LIFE Awards will honour the most innovative, inspirational and effective LIFE projects in three categories: nature, environment and climate action. A hybrid ceremony will be held as part of EU Green Week – Europe’s biggest and most important environmental event. Exact date to be confirmed.
EU Sustainable Energy Week
In October, the most significant event on renewables and efficient energy use in Europe – EU Sustainable Energy Week – will take place for the first time under the LIFE umbrella.
European Bauhaus Festival
Following our recent LIFE in the New European Bauhaus hybrid event, the European Commission has announced that it will hold a Bauhaus Festival from 8 to 12 June in Brussels. The festival aims to encourage Bauhaus changemakers to share their progress and results and attract citizen engagement to the movement.
Third-party events
LIFE will again feature in relevant third-party events across Europe in 2022. Our participation at these events usually involves setting up a branded CINEA or LIFE stand and having key speakers in relevant sessions.
