The deadline to submit project proposals for the first Horizon Europe single stage calls for Climate (HORIZON-CL5-2021-D1-01) and Mobility (HORIZON-CL5-2021-D5-01) topics expired on Tuesday 14 September 2021 at 17:00.

Overall, the budget for the call is €136 million distributed over 9 single stage topics, all managed by CINEA. 67 proposals have been submitted to the call for a total requested contribution of €367.51 million.

Horizon Europe is the new EU framework programme for research and innovation, which succeeds Horizon 2020. Under Horizon Europe, Energy, Climate Action, and Mobility research actions are grouped into Cluster 5.

The projects in this call are selected for funding in a single-stage evaluation.

The evaluations will start on 27 September 2021, and the virtual consensus phase will be held between mid-October and mid-November 2021.
