For sustainable blue economy to thrive, marine ecosystems need to be preserved and monitored. The European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF) funded 16 Ocean Health and Observation projects that target many of the environmental challenges the ocean and seas face today. To celebrate the international #WorldOceansDay, CINEA published an infographic to present them all.
The EU4Ocean coalition, funded under the European Maritime Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF) and managed by CINEA, also organised a day full of activities on ocean literacy. The event will be held today 8th June from 14:00 to 23:00 in the cultural hub Talk CEC in Brussels. Visitors will discover the wonders of the ocean, engage with blue economy professionals, test their ocean knowledge and explore the many facets of ocean sustainability. Don't miss this opportunity!
