New EMFF “BlueInvest” grants aim to boost innovation and investment in sustainable technologies for the blue economy, by supporting market readiness for early-stage businesses, SMEs and scale-ups.

Europe’s blue economy and especially SMEs play a crucial role in supporting coastal communities and in decarbonising our economy. In that context, the Blue Economy Window call was launched in 2019 with the aim to accelerate the sustainable development of the blue economy SMEs across the European Union. The total call budget is of EUR 22,505,000 provided under the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF).
