Co-funded by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF), the AspBAN project is looking for the most innovative blue start-ups to join its Acceleration Services programme.

80 companies will have the chance to take part in a free, tailored initiative to support their activities and foster collaborations within the innovation ecosystem of Atlantic Smart Blue Ports. The services will include workshops, mentoring and pitching sessions as well as connections to other businesses, ports and investors.

The call is open to start-ups with cutting-edge blue economy solutions for Atlantic ports to boost digitalisation, improve operational efficiency, facilitate the green transition and have a positive impact on sustainability.

Applications are open until the 15th of October 2021. For further details, click here.

The Atlantic Smart Ports Blue Acceleration Network (AspBAN) is a project bringing together a consortium of 13 partners. Focused on developing a dynamic acceleration platform, it aims to help transform EU Atlantic ports into blue economy hubs.

Ports are one of the primary interfaces with the ocean and will play a strategic role as launchpads for a new generation of blue companies. As key playgrounds for the development of new blue initiatives, EU Atlantic Ports can diversify their business models and revenue sources, working towards a sustainable ocean economy.
