This webinar will present the results of LIFE TTGG and the Environmental decision support system (EDSS) developed under the project.
The EDSS is a software developed to help Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) cheese producers take environmental decisions. It facilitates the calculation of the environmental footprint of packaged products by applying the Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) methodology. It also identifies measures to reduce energy consumption.
The EDSS will ultimately help producers optimise their production processes from both an environmental and an economic perspective.
