The ongoing revision of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive emphasises the crucial involvement of local governments in home renovation initiatives. The European Parliament suggests setting up at least one One-Stop-Shop (OSS) in every region or for every 45,000 people, with a uniform approach across member states. The Horizon 2020 funded project I-HEROS and Eurocities, the largest network of European cities, are hosting a webinar about the One-stop-Shops (OSS) for home energy renovation. It will address the upcoming challenges for urban renovation policies, focusing on the expansion, replication, and long-term sustainability of OSS services.
A representative from the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) will establish the policy context at the event, offering insights into the OSS for home energy renovation. The LIFE project EU Peers will also present “The European Community of Practice for OSS dealing with residential energy renovation”.
