Rivers of LIFE final seminar

Join the final seminar of the LIFE project Rivers of LIFE and learn how large-scale river restoration is helping to revive biodiversity and strengthen ecosystems in Sweden’s boreal streams.

The event will bring together experts, practitioners and stakeholders to share experiences, results and lessons learned from the project. Through presentations, networking opportunities and poster sessions, participants will gain insights into innovative approaches to restoring waterways and enhancing natural habitats.

The programme includes two half-days of indoor sessions, followed by a field visit to project restoration sites in the counties of Gävleborg and Jämtland, offering a first-hand look at LIFE-funded conservation actions on the ground.

Participation is free of charge, and registration is open until 21 August 2026.
