LIFE SAMFIX project results
At this final event, the team will share its knowledge on the detection and damage, invasion routes, prevention, early warning and containment of bark beetles of the genus Xylosandrus in natural areas.
Key project findings and resources will be shared with forest managers, phytosanitary officers, nursery managers, and other interested parties to raise awareness of potential threats from the beetles and how to counter them.

The LIFE SAMFIX project, coordinated by Ente Parco Nazionale del Circeo, set out to protect Mediterranean forests from invasions of bark beetles.
