IN-PLAN Train-the-Trainer Live in Vienna

The LIFE IN-PLAN project organised a special two-day Train-the-Trainer edition that provided participants with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to support local and regional authorities in integrating energy and climate planning into spatial planning processes. Designed for local energy experts, urban planners, and policy advisers, the programme aimed to strengthen skills, broaden professional networks, and enhance impact.

In a time of rapid urban growth and accelerating climate change, integrated spatial planning had never been more critical. The IN-PLAN programme combined theoretical insights with practical, hands-on activities to equip participants with the ability to develop sustainable and resilient plans for real-world contexts.

Attendees also had the opportunity to explore the IN-PLAN Practice – a digital guidebook supporting the implementation of local and regional sustainable energy and climate actions – within an engaging and collaborative learning environment.
