LIFE WOLFALPS EU conference 2023

In line with the objectives of the LIFE WOLFALPS project, the conference aimed to create a dialogue concerning the assessment of large-scale wolf populations. It also examined the pros and cons of current statistical and genetic data analysis techniques. 

As such, this conference focused on recent advancements in estimating the European wolf population on a large scale. The programme included discussions on the associated challenges, drawing from real-world experience in Europe during the morning sessions and a forward-looking perspective in the afternoon.
