Description
LIFE UrbanGreeningPlans final conference
The event will address issues including:
- How we can further enhance ecosystem services in our cities.
- How green spaces can contribute to urban resilience.
- How we can incorporate urban greening at different levels of government.
Different project actions from Athens, Barcelona, Brussels, Milan and Lisbon will be presented.
The team encourages decision makers and urban planners across Europe to participate and other professionals interested in renaturing cities.

The EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 calls on cities with over 20,000 inhabitants to create urban greening plans to bring nature into cities, support biodiversity and mitigate climate change. LIFE UrbanGreeningPlans focuses on practical implementation measures for urban greening.
