Unprecedented levels of poaching and illegal trade in wildlife have significantly increased high-level political attention around the globe to this issue. This event will bring together representatives from key authorities and organisations to discuss joint efforts to fight wildlife trafficking. The discussion will focus on practical examples of fighting against wildlife trafficking and revising the EU Action Plan Against Wildlife Trafficking.

The LIFE SWiPE project comprises 13 partners in 11 countries. The team works with enforcement authorities to discourage and ultimately reduce wildlife crime by improving compliance with EU environmental law.
