Sustainable Places 2025 will be held mainly as an in-person event, with online participation also available. This year, the event will take place in Milan, a city renowned for sustainability, design, architecture, business, and quality of life.
The LIFE Programme will host a stand (107) showcasing the LIFE Clean Energy Transition (CET) sub-programme. LIFE CET supports the shift towards an energy-efficient, renewable energy-based, climate-neutral and resilient economy by funding coordination and support actions across Europe.
On Thursday, 9 October, LIFE projects will present how they supported the SRI implementation at the Smart Readiness Indicator thematic track: Market uptake (09:30 to 13:00, Auditorium), Smart Readiness Indicator: Tools to support the uptake of the SRI (16:00 to 17:30, Room 3). LIFE projects will exchange on Decarbonising district heating and cooling networks (14:00-15:30, Room 1).
On Friday, 10 October, LIFE projects will exchange on and Building renovation in practice (09:00-10:30, Room 3) and present case studies and best practices on Clean Energy Transition: Capacity building & innovative finance (14:00 to 17:30, Auditorium).
