The LIFE RIPARIAS is addressing the growing challenge of biological invasions, which requires strategic and well-coordinated use of resources. By tackling gaps in planning for the management of Invasive Alien Species (IAS), the project aims to develop a data-driven workflow to support informed decision-making in pilot river basins across Belgium.
In the final year of the project, the LIFE RIPARIAS International Conference, entitled 'Biological Invasions: From Data to Management', will take place from 8 to 9 September at the Tour & Taxis in Brussels.
This two-day event will include:
- A scientific conference on Tuesday 8 September, hosted at the Brussels Environment building
- A field trip on Wednesday 9 September, departing from the Tour & Taxis site.
